Dr. Kuo-Hsi Cheng ( Ph.D., Industrial Hygiene)
President of ScinoPharm (Changshu)
Dr. Kuo-Hsi Cheng has more than 20 years of experience in petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries. Dr. Cheng joined ScinoPharm in January, 1999, initially served as the Manager of EHS. Over the years, he has steadily expanded his responsibilities to include management of all small to medium production lines, Materials Management, Utility, EHS, Project Engineering, and Maintenance. Since January of 2010, he has assumed the president of ScinoPharm (Changshu).
Prior to joining ScinoPharm, Dr. Cheng worked initially as EHS Engineer, later on was promoted to the Manager of EHS, for Grand Pacific Petrochemical Corporation located in Kaohsiung Ta-She Industrial Park from 1995 to 1998.
Dr. Cheng has a B.S. degree of Chemical Engineering from National Tsing-Hua University, M.S. degree of Environmental Sciences and Engineering from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Ph.D. of Industrial Hygiene from Johns Hopkins University. He is an active member of American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and was registered as qualified Environmental Auditor with Environmental Auditors Registration Association (EARA) in UK. He is also a certified class-A air pollution control professional and certified class-A safety and health superintendent in Taiwan.
Dr. Yung-Fa (Fred) Chen (B.Sc., M.S. and Ph.D., Chemistry)

Has 4 peer-reviewed scientific publications and 6 published patents, and several patents pending.
Has 20 years working experience in the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry.
Dr. Chen holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Wayne State University, USA, a M.S. in Chemistry from National Taiwan University, and a B.S. from Tunghai University. Dr. Chen is the holder of six patents. Prior to joining ScinoPharm in 1998, Dr. Chen was employed for 7 years in the Refining and Manufacturing Research Centre of Chinese Petroleum Corporation (CPC) where he worked on specialty chemical products and in process R&D. He was an adjunct professor of Chemistry at Tunghai University in Taiwan for 5 years and at Wayne State University as a postdoctoral fellow of Medicinal Chemistry for two years. Dr. Chen has more than 20 years experience in chemical and pharmaceutical R&D. His expertise includes medicinal chemistry, process R&D and technology transfers.
Mr. Yu-Chih Yang (B.Sc., Chemistry)
The Head of Administration/Executive Assistant to President of ScinoPharm (Changshu)
Has 20 years working experience in the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry.
Mr. Yang received a B.Sc. degree from Taiwan University and for more than 15 years supervised and managed QC operations. Mr. Yang has extensive experience in ISO9001/14001 protocols as well as pharmaceutical cGMP experience including SOP document preparation, validation and stability protocol. After initial employment as QC manager for 6 years at ScinoPharm Taiwan, Mr. Yang was transferred to ScinoPharm Kunshan in 2004 to build a GMP compliant QC/ARD laboratory with responsibilities extended to QA, and then later to the Technology support department and MM (material management). Since January of 2010, he has assumed the head of administration and executive assistant to president of ScinoPharm (Changshu).
