Analytical R&D Team Leader Ying-Tzu Lin
Work Moments - A Day of Creating Infinite Possibilities
The primary responsibility of an Analytical R&D Researcher is to develop new analytical methods, validate these methods, and ensure the accuracy and reproducibility of analyses. The department’s tasks include conducting daily research, assisting with qualitative analysis, developing analytical methods, and providing support to all company units with physical and mass spectrometry analyses. When discrepancies arise, the team also helps the factory investigate foreign substances. Effective cross-departmental communication is crucial for interpreting and consolidating analytical data correctly; understanding the background and objectives is key to finding the right solutions. The ability to deliver on projects, combined with a collaborative team environment, motivates Ying-Tzu Lin to continuously strive for excellence.

R&D Researcher Yung-Hung Chang
The primary responsibility of an Organic Synthesis Researcher is to design and synthesize new drug candidates, develop process pathways, optimize synthetic steps, and improve yield and purity. The process begins with thorough literature research and close coordination with the company’s regulatory department to identify and avoid potential patent issues. Feasibility studies are then carried out to assess the viability of new synthetic routes. Following this, project kickoff meetings are held to refine process parameters, scale up the synthesis, and eventually transition production to the GMP facility. As Yung-Hung says, "Being able to fully apply what I’ve learned at work has always been a source of personal fulfillment. Even now, I still feel a sense of happiness whenever I contribute to process improvements."
